We left the hotel and drove to pick up a Brazilian Volleyball group, called Paulistano, to practice with them. The Brazilian players took a ride with the American players. The Brazilians were not shy at all; they were talking to the American girls during the entire way to the gym. At the gym, the girls practiced with each other, learned some Portuguese words, and even some Brazilian dancing moves.

After practices, we came back to the hotel to eat, take a shower, and rest. Around 4:00pm, we left the hotel and we went to the supermarket to buy some water and groceries. Right after it, we went to watch a women’s professional game. The players were amazing: tall, fast, offensive, and really competitive. Since we were seating on the first and second rows, we had the opportunity to watch the players’ moves and the details of the game. We even won a t-shirt from the team Finasa that invited us to watch and cheer for them. By the end of the game, we were starving; it was already 8:30pm. We went to a nice all you can eat pizza, salad, soup, and pasta. The restaurant was really close to the hotel so we walked over there. It was actually inside a mall that is located in front of our hotel. The restaurant had a very interesting system of serving the pizzas. The waiters used to go around with the pizzas on their hands from table to table and serving the people. There were even sweet pizzas of chocolate, banana and cinnamon, banana and chocolate, and cream of gassy and cheese. After this banquette, we went to bed.
